HSC exams postponed for three boards
The government has decided to postpone the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under three education boards for ten days amid natural calamity.
The HSC and equivalent exams, which were scheduled to begin on August 17, have been postponed for three boards. HSC exams under Chittagong education board, Bangladesh Technical Education Board and Alim examination under the Madrasah Education Board will start from August 27 instead of August 17. Quoting the Inter-Education Board, public relations officer of the Ministry of Education, MA Khayer, confirmed the news on Friday night.
He said that due to natural calamity, the HSC and equivalent examinations under Chittagong Education Board, Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board will start from August 27 instead of August 17.
However, the examinations of other boards will be held as per the declared schedule from August 17 as usual.
