Bangladesh move up three places in FIFA rankings
Bangladesh national football team's recent results in the SAFF Championship 2023 have made an impact in the latest FIFA rankings as they moved up three places to 189.
The men in red and green, before the tournament were ranked 192, and 3-1 wins against Maldives and Bhutan contributed to the rise.
They lost 2-0 against 102-ranked Lebanon and were bettered by a 1-0 margin against 141-ranked Kuwait.
Both Lebanon and Kuwait have also seen rises in the rankings. Lebanon is now ranked 100, while Kuwait has moved up four places to 137.
