Jubo Mohila League, Mohila Awami League full committees announced
The full central committees for two women's wings of the ruling Awami League - Jubo Mohila League and Mohila Awami League - were announced on Sunday.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader approved both organizations' committees under the instructions of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina.
The Jubo Mohila League selected many former Chhatra League leaders for its full committee, whereas the Mohila Awami League chose senior women leaders of the ruling party, including a significant number of current and former MPs.
On December 15, 2022, Daisy Sarwar and Sharmin Sultana Lilly were appointed as president and general secretary of Jubo Mohila League, respectively, at the third triennial council of the Jubo Mohila League at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka.
On November 26, 2022, Meher Afroz Chumki was appointed as the president and Shabnam Zahan Shila was announced as the new general secretary of Bangladesh Mohila Awami League.
