PM Tarique Rahman to Visit Moulvibazar on June 17

Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman, is scheduled to visit Moulvibazar District on June 17 (Wednesday). During the visit, he will inaugurate the Family Card distribution program in Sreemangal and Moulvibazar Sadar and later attend a political meeting at DuSai Resort.
According to sources at the Prime Minister's Office, the Prime Minister will leave his residence at 9:00 am. for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. At 9:30 am. he will depart by air for Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, arriving there at approximately 10:15 am. He will then travel to Sreemangal in Moulvibazar District.
As per the official schedule, at 1:00 pm. he will attend a Family Card distribution ceremony at the historic Victoria High School Ground in Sreemangal, where he will formally launch the distribution program among beneficiary families. Following the event, he will depart for Moulvibazar Sadar at 2:00 pm.
At 2:30 pm, the Prime Minister will participate in another Family Card distribution event at the Moulvibazar Government High School Ground. The program is expected to be attended by people from various professions and social backgrounds across the district.
Later, at around 3:30 pm. he will leave the venue for DuSai Resort and is expected to arrive at approximately 3:45 p.m. After a short break, he will join a political meeting scheduled for 4:45 p.m.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister will depart for Osmani International Airport at around 5:45 pm. He is expected to board a flight to Dhaka at 8:30 pm. and arrive in the capital at approximately 9:20 pm.
The tour schedule, signed by Prime Minister's Office Protocol Officer-1 Md. Ujjal Hossain, states that this is an official government visit. Personal staff and officials accompanying the Prime Minister will travel as part of the delegation.
Extensive preparations have been undertaken by the district administration, law enforcement agencies, and relevant government and non-government organizations ahead of the much-anticipated visit. The visit has also generated considerable enthusiasm within the local political arena.
