BNP to hold sizable processions on Saturday
The BNP will hold sizable processions in the city on Saturday as part of its one-point movement, demanding the resignation of the government and the staging of general elections under a non-partisan interim administration.
Party Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement on Wednesday at a press conference held at the party's Nayapaltan headquarters in the capital.
Rizvi asserted that the BNP's Dhaka south and north city sections would hold separate processions in order to realise the one-point demand.
The political parties that share the BNP's anti-government stances will follow similar programs.
