Habiganj mother gave birth to triplets
In Habiganj, three children were born together in normal delivery. All three newborns are boys. This incident happened during normal delivery at Pail Union Health and Family Welfare Center of Habiganj Sadar Upazila on Sunday (May 7) night.
Mother of three children named Rahela Akhter. District Bahubal Upazila Karimpur Village. She is the wife of Arsh Ali. The normal delivery process was completed by Nurjahan Begum, Family Welfare Inspector of Pail Union Health and Family Welfare Centre.
It is known that earlier Rahela Akhtar has three more daughters. This is her fourth normal delivery. Family Welfare Inspector Nurjahan Begum said that yesterday evening Rahela Akhtar was admitted to the Health and Family Welfare Center with labor pain. Rahela gave birth to a boy naturally around 10 pm. Within a few minutes, she gave birth to two more children. The other two newborns are also boys.
He also said that two newborns weigh two and a half kg and another weighs two kg. Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) services are provided to the relatively low birth weight newborns by skin-to-skin contact.
