Risk to Bangladesh has reduced: BMD director
The risk of severe Cyclone Mocha has decreased for Bangladesh as the severe cyclonic storm is heading towards Myanmar, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Speaking to the media at 12:00 noon, Mohammad Azizur Rahman, director of BMD, said the risk for Bangladesh has reduced. Areas in Myanmar and its southern region are expected to be at greater risk.
"The risk has reduced a lot in our Bangladesh," Rahman said.
